Look Out World, Here She Comes!

I'm not quite sure how it happened, but our little girl is walking! How is it possible she has reached this milestone already? Honestly it feels like we just brought Nicolaus' little sister home from the hospital last week, not last year. So where will your little legs take you precious Carleigh? Mommy can only imagine...

There are so many moments I wish I had on video, but honestly, who has a camera around all the time? Or if I actually do run to go get the camera, the moment has passed or Nicolaus just isn't in the mood anymore. This is one of the reasons I love, love, love my iPhone. I actually have a chance to catch some of the sweet but fleeting moments in my life raising two under two. Ignore my silly voice, I think I was being way too conscious of the way I sounded...

Walking!

Nicolaus decided he would start off 2010 full speed ahead. We woke up January 1st and suddenly we had a full blown walker on our hands. He stll crawls every once in a while and toddles like a penguin as his Aunt Kristy says (what a perfect description!) but for the most part walks pretty well. He certainly keeps Mommy and Daddy on our toes!
