I've never blogged before

Ok, so I have never blogged before. This in itself is kind of strange since for so many years now I have considered myself a writer and it seems that "blogging" is what most writers do these days. So I dropped the ball on that one and now that John and I are having a baby, I figured it a good time to play catch up. Plus, with so many of our friends and family spread all over the globe, it will be a good way for everyone to find out what's going on with the Pedersen Family. So, here starts a new journey...
