6 Months!

The Pedersen household has been experiencing technical difficulties. Not only did our computer crash, but once we received our new computer, our Internet and Vonage have been down for a couple of weeks. Since I am a SAHM, I have felt so disconnected from the world! Now that we are up an running again, I have Nicolaus' six month picture, a shot from my first Mother's day and a few other pictures just too cute not to share. I cannot believe Nicolaus is half a year old already. He is 17.4 lbs and 27 inches tall! We are enjoying all the gifts of Spring, including a den of baby rabbits right in our own backyard. Though super cute, they have now started eating John's plants so we may have to send Roxy out to guard our territory. We have a busy Summer ahead of us full of birthdays, weddings and family reunions. Looking forward to lots of time spent with family and friends.

What a cutie...

You know that cliche, "A picture is worth 1,000 words?" Well it happens to be true, especially when you are talking about my son, the cutest child on Earth. I'm allowed to say that because I am his mother. I am sure your little boy or girl is just darling and you can post pictures on your blog to support your claim. I digress...I have discovered not nearly enough words exist to describe what I feel for Nicolaus, how proud I am of his every little discovery, or how baffled I am that 5 months of his life have whipped by me like a freight train.

Family Resemblance?

No you're not seeing double...The picture on the left is John's 4 month portrait and Nicolaus is on the right! Everyone always is quick to point out how much Nickles looks like his Daddy and there really is no denying it. Pretty crazy too is how similar their 4 month outfits are! Thank you Great-Grandpa Pedersen for the scanned picture of John.

Cereal!

Nicolaus is such a big boy! We received the go-ahead from our pediatrician to start him on cereal. I think he is going to be quite the big eater because he got the hang of it in no time and started to get a bit upset if Mommy and Daddy didn't move fast enough. We were lucky that Grandma Harris was here to share in the milestone and she took a lot of great pictures. We all can't wait till we go visit Grandma and Grandpa in Ohio at the end of June. Who knows what Nickles will be eating then!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

From my crib to yours...

And check out the curtains grandma made! They are green and white gingham with polkadot accents and little Hansel and Gretel buttons. We love them!
